  • About Me
On this page, I collect random thoughts and observations about life. They are written in chronological order and I revise old thoughts as I gain additional clarity. Per the Monty Hall Problem, we are often wrong about our original assumptions and are best suited to change course as fast as possible. Life is no different.

"Why not just post thoughts on Twitter?"

Well, I don't like social media. When I was younger (i.e. 17 - 24) I would post a lot on social media due to my need for social validation and deep rooted insecurities. I do inherently believe in the power of social media (see Egyptian revolution) but I'm not convinced that people use it for the right reasons.

Social media platforms compete to become the system of record for our life
(i.e. a structured chronological data record of their life). Just like in business when choosing to "buy vs build", I'm not convinced that relying on software built by someone else is the best long term option.

I'm a hypocrite at times by using social media for self-promotion.
