My life mission is to build impactful technologies and empower others to do the exact same.
I'm Param (pronounced like chicken parm).
I'm the CEO of Hatch Apps. We help businesses find, build, and manage their software. We're backed by Morgan Stanley, Revolution, Y Combinator and more.
Before Hatch Apps, I built the EcoTube, a device that reduces carbon dioxide emissions from cars. I still hold multiple patents on carbon capture, bio-reactors, and thermoelectric generators.
I'm a part time game creator. I've built 2 viral card games so far: 2016 Election Game and Done With 2020.
I've won hundreds of awards for my work like Forbes '30 Under 30' and the Jefferson Award for Public Service. These awards are nice for my self-esteem and provide social validation that I'm on the right track but also don't matter in the grand scheme of things. I try to minimize the things in life that don't actually matter: fancy cars, expensive clothes, superficial relationships, self congratulatory awards, and speaking at conferences.
I have zero tolerance for mediocracy. I surround myself with people who are innately curious, think clearly, and continuously improve themselves. My friends and colleagues have ambitions above what seems possible to others.
My favorite quote is by Margaret Mead: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
My family and close friends are the most important part of my life. I also love playing basketball, reading about behavioral psychology, and making Old Fashioneds to channel my inner Don Draper.
